Hi Heather. A couple of questions: #1. Do we have the list of confirmed hikers for the San G hike yet? Are all 3 of my group confirmed for the 6am start? #2. I see we are meeting at Jenks Lake/Southfork Trailhead. Are we hiking the South Fork to Dry Lake or the Jenks Lake up South Fork via Dollar Lake? It says both above in one spot but the directions refer to only Dry Lake so I am assuming we are doing Dry Lake, but just want to confirm. :-)

Hi Ray, thanks for checking on the punch. It wasn't placed in a register can without a lid, so it must have been moved. Let's hope it stays in place till Sept! Thanks again

Wow sounds like you had quite the adventure! Sounds like the punch has been unfortunately taken. It does happen from time to time, especially on the more visited peaks. We will attempt to get one up there sometime this week if possible. Just so you and everyone know the, punch is always with the Seven Summits sign. If it is not attached to the sign it's gone missing. Thanks for letting us know!

Was up Grays Peak this morning... this was my daughter's and my very first "summit" ever. GREAT hike... planning to hike Bertha next weekend. When we got to the summit, we found the Seven Summits sign but no punch. Looked all over... then went all the way to the top looking for the Sierra Club can and log, and no luck. Startex back down and ran across a guy and asked him about them. He said he could show us exactly where the can is, so we followed him back up to the top. We really wanted our punches, and hoped to find the punch with the can. Nope... the Sierra can isn't where the guy has always seen it. We searched around for a bit, and found the Geocache, but no can to be found... and no punch. So, did we just miss the punch, or is it gone? I wont complain about having to go back up. We really enjoyed the hike!
